    TERMS & CONDITIONS

    Subscription Terms
    Cancellations: New subscriptions or renewals of subscriptions for Compass services can be cancelled at no charge up to 30 days from the invoice date. After 30 days from the date of invoice, subscription fees cannot be refunded. Setup fees are not refundable.
    Scope of Use: A DrawBridge subscription for an on-premise DrawBridge appliance grants the license to filter all devices owned by the account holder or the account holder's employees/household, both on the local network as well as mobile devices. All other subscriptions for filtering or Mobile Device Management (such as Maple Leaf licenses, etc.) are intended for a single device only. Any attempts to share Compass filtering or MDM outside this scope is a violation of the Terms of Service. Reselling Compass subscription services or software requires a valid Reseller's Agreement.


    Warranties
    (1) New DrawBridge systems have a one-year hardware warranty from the date of invoice unless Compass determines a loss of functionality was caused by physical damage and/or environmental damage such as moisture, dust, heat, cold, lightning/power quality issues. (2) New Vision phones are covered by a one-year hardware warranty from the date of invoice unless Compass determines that hardware failure was caused by external damage from abuse/accident or moisture/heat/fire/chemical exposure. Cosmetic wear to screens and ports from normal use is not covered. If Compass replaces a phone under the terms of this warranty, the defective phone becomes our property and the replacement phone becomes your property. Replacement Vision phones are covered by a hardware warranty of 90 days or the remaining term of the one-year warranty on the original phone, whichever is longer. (3) Sunbeam phones are covered by a one-year warranty from Sunbeam Wireless, covering any failure other than physical damage or water damage. (4) New Apple mobile devices are covered under the warranty provisions of the manufacturer. (5) Laptops/desktops are covered under the warranty provisions of the manufacturer. (6) Refurbished/used devices sold by Compass have a 30-day warranty, and defective devices will be replaced with an equivalent device free of charge unless Compass determines the device was subject to non-typical environmental damage. (6) Return shipping charges are not refundable.

    Returns
    (1) New hardware and devices may be returned up to fourteen days from receipt of the device unless stipulated otherwise by manufacturer or vendor. To be eligible for returns, hardware must be in new condition, include all original packaging and documentation, and have the RMA number provided by Compass. Restocking fees may apply. (2) Refurbished/used hardware and devices can be returned for a full refund up to thirty days from receipt of hardware, provided such hardware has not sustained damage beyond ordinary wear from typical use. Return shipping charges are not refundable. 

    Customer Data

    Customers shall be responsible to back up personal data, and to remove SIM cards, memory cards, and any confidential data on devices before returning them. Compass cannot be liable for customer data on returned hardware or warranty claims.

    Terminations
    Delinquent accounts are subject to having subscription services terminated if efforts to collect past due charges are unsuccessful.
